Last night on Second life - The Club Yummy Experience

Flashing Neon lights, Loud Club Music from Live DJ, Extra friendly Hosts, Avatars on the dance floor or strip poles - bursting moves, Drinks, smoke filled air, Dressed to impress, Themed Contests and Sploders to win cash prizes, Tip Jars.

I've pretty much described a typical SecondLife night-out spent clubbing. FYI: It's basically a gathering of people who love good music - pre-recorded or streamed live by a DJ.
I promised to tell tales of my secondlife travels - so here goes the first one.

Secondlife has some how mastered the art of transforming fantasy into reality by letting you live your dreams in the form of a 3D animated avatar - so if clubbing all night in Real life has never been possible for you or you have never stepped foot into a Club in real life, welcome to the world of possibilities.

First night at Club Yummy Inc

A lot of preparation and detailed planning goes into SL events to ensure it's success - I've always been interested in the back-end of things so last night i got the chance to DJ for 2 whole hours at Club Yummy Inc.

Club Yummy Inc
Friendly management that welcomes everyone with opens arms - they take pride in that and have a spirit of togetherness flowing all around the sim. That does not mean that there are no rules.

Yummy Inc is more than your average Night club, it's a community that extends to accommodate other activities such as board games, shopping malls with hand-picked designer clothing, accessories, home deco and more.

Joy was the Host for evening, tried her best to engage audience members while i fixed a "technical issue" with my stream. Yeah, that's what we're going to call it :D -
Now i know how Eminem felt when he froze in front of the Mic in 8 mile.

I played carefully selected Club hits from Hip-pop/R&b Genre - Interrupted the music a few times to make annoucements and introductions to some songs - That was a big deal because i almost never use my mic in SL. Stuff i had to say was not scripted but with time i got used to it - ideas came mostly from audience reaction and mood.

My mix was really appreciated and i got tips to show for it. :D
Finally! Something i'm good at on Second Life.
